Have a question? Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions at Melco. Of course, if your question is still unanswered please don't hesitate to contact Melco. 

When will my order be shipped? 

Most orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours of order placement. Please allow extra time for packing around public holidays, or sales/promotions. Orders are packed Monday to Friday. 

Who packs my order? 

At Melco, each order is packed with care by Melanie and/or Donna. 

Where are you located?

The Melco warehouse is located on the Central Coast NSW in Warnervale.

Do you have a shopfront? 

At this stage our facilities do not enable in store shopping. 

If I am a local can I click and collect?

Yes, you are more than welcome to click and collect your order to save on postage. Pick up times are by appointment only, when your order is ready to be collected you will be contacted to arrange a collection time. Generally speaking, the warehouse is open for collections 7.30pm to 9.30pm Monday to Friday. 

Why are there three options for postage at checkout?

At checkout there are three options for shipping to enable people to choose an option that is most suited to their situation. 

  • Standard Postage (Aramex) is not available for PO Box, Parcel Locker or Post Office shipping addresses. If you select this option and have your shipping address as an excluded option, this may delay your order being shipped. You will be contacted and asked to provide an alternate shipping address, or pay additional postage. 
  • Orders can however be shipped to a PO Box Plus, this is an upgraded service from a Standard PO Box and allows you to receive shipments from all couriers. A 'PO Box Plus' address will be Suite XXX and a street address. Unfortunately, Australia Post does not allow other couriers to deliver to Standard PO Box addresses. 
  • Standard Postage - Australia Post is available for customers who wish to ship to a PO Box, Parcel Locker or Post Office shipping address (or if they simply prefer this carrier). 
  • EXPRESS Postage - Australia Post is available for customers who need their items as soon as possible.

Why can I not choose Standard Aramex Postage and ship it to a PO Box, Parcel Locker or Post Office ?

Standard flat rate postage is via Aramex or CouriersPlease. These providers have cheaper rates then Australia Post. Unfortunately, they cannot deliver to a Standard PO Box, Parcel Locker or Post Office.

What Covid safety procedures do you have in place? 

At Melco, your safety and well-being is important. Extra hygiene practices include wiping down benches between orders, wearing face-masks and using hand sanitizer regularly. As a small business your fabric is not in contact with multiple people. All staff members have had their Covid vaccinations.

If I am not happy with my purchase can I return it? 

If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for up to 30 days from the original purchase date for a refund. In order to do so, the item(s) must be in new, unworn/unwashed/uncut condition. In the case of a change of mind return, you are responsible for return postage charges. If you are unsure on fabric colours ect please order some free fabric samples prior to purchase.  But I can assure you, you will love Melco Fabrics! 

Are the colours accurate on your website?

All care is taken to represent fabric in the most accurate way possible. However, every screen will display colours a little differently, so please note this when ordering fabric. Returns for this reason will incur postage charges. 

If I find a fault with my order, what should I do?
